Cookie Policy

This explains the cookies and similar technologies we use, what each is for, and how to change your choices at any time. It sits alongside our privacy policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. Similar technologies (such as browser storage) work in much the same way. Some are needed for the site to work. Others are optional, and we only use those with your consent. We never use cookies to collect health information.

Your choices

When you first visit, our banner lets you accept all cookies, reject everything except the strictly necessary ones, or open Manage preferences to choose category by category. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. We save your choice in a first-party cookie called seona_consent so we can remember it on your next visit.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work.

The categories we use

  • Strictly necessary (always on). Needed for the site to work: signing you in, keeping your session secure, taking payment during checkout, the security check on our forms, and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off, and they never require consent.
  • Functional. Remember choices you make to improve your experience. We do not set any functional cookies at the moment. This category is here so the choice is yours if we add them.
  • Analytics. Help us understand how people find and use Seona, using Google Analytics and Plausible. These run only if you turn Analytics on. Analytics is told when an order is placed and its value, but never what was ordered. No health data is ever collected by analytics, and they are never used on the questionnaire or in your account area.
  • Marketing. Measure our marketing. If you arrived from one of our Google adverts, and you allow this, we remember which advert (a reference Google adds to the link) so we can tell whether it led to an order. We do not show you targeted advertising and set no advertising cookies.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell your information.

The services behind these cookies

Strictly necessary cookies come from the tools that run the service: our sign-in and session system, Stripe (payments and identity checks, during checkout only), and Cloudflare (the security check that protects our sign-in and forms). Analytics cookies, when you allow them, come from Google Analytics and Plausible. You can read how each provider handles data in our privacy policy.
