Who provides your care
One registered pharmacy, end to end.
Seona is the clinical sleep service of Icon Pharmacy, a pharmacy registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and owned by Icon Pharmacy Ltd.
- Icon Pharmacy is the pharmacy that dispenses and supplies your medicines.
- Clinical assessments and prescribing decisions are made by a GPhC-registered independent prescriber working within Icon Pharmacy.
- The same registered pharmacy is responsible for both the prescribing decision and the supply of your medicine. There is no separate or third-party prescribing service involved.

Clinical assessments and prescribing decisions are made by independent prescribers registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council: qualified healthcare professionals, trained to assess patients and prescribe within their area of competence.

Our prescribers are paid for each clinical assessment they carry out, regardless of the outcome. They have no financial incentive to issue a prescription. Every assessment ends in one of three ways:
- A prescription is approved.
- Further information is requested.
- Treatment is declined. A decision to decline is a legitimate and expected clinical outcome in some cases.
